3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring you have authority to set up call forwarding on phone numbers you add

4. Subscription and Billing

Call Bodyguard operates on a subscription basis with the following terms:

• Free Trial: 14-day trial period with no credit card required
• Billing Cycles: Monthly or annual billing as selected
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Refunds: Pro-rated refunds available for annual subscriptions cancelled within 30 days
• Price Changes: We will provide 30 days notice before any price increases

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service for any illegal or harmful activities
• Set up call forwarding on numbers you don't own or control

6. Service Availability and Limitations

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Our services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Important Limitations:

• Call Bodyguard is not a replacement for emergency services (911)
• We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in distinguishing legitimate from unwanted calls
• Service requires active call forwarding and compatible carrier support
• AI screening decisions are based on conversation analysis and may occasionally err

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Call Bodyguard and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Call Bodyguard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. We may terminate your account for violations of these Terms with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your access to our services will cease, but these Terms will continue to apply to any prior use of our services.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Call Bodyguard is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except for small claims court matters.
